Layout Change for Zo’C

In the last few weeks I’ve been working on a new layout for the Zo’C Blog. Actually, a new layout, a logo, visual identity, etc.

This is the first post on the new layout. Please take the time to go the the page and check it out.

Also, plese take the time to leave a comment, any constructive criticism is welcome, as well as compliments.

I expect some trouble just as I apply the new layout, I really think that the images are going to give me some work when I republish, I’m prepared to fix that, but maybe not today, indulge me on this if something looks broken, and leave me a comment if you think it’s something I may not note by myself.

And for those who already regularly read the blog, and those who just loved the new visual and intend to do it so, I’ll tell about my next post: Zo’C is moving to a server outside Blogger with a decent domain.

Keep tunned so you don’t miss Zo’C, in the next post I’ll give details about the move.

Typography Drawing

Typography is one of my favourite subjects in design. The role of typography is fundamental on every piece of design in which is contained.

In fact, typography is so powerful that you can do an entire image based solely on types.

I’ve done this “flower” in just a few minutes, quick and simple on Times New Roman types, inspired by the cover art of Jeremy Keith’s book “DOM Scripting: Web Design with JavaScript and the Document Object Model“.

In fact, I am looking for good typography books, please leave your suggestions.
