The Science of Web Art, Design and Development

A huge step

Google Analytics of ZoC

Recently, the Manage all your email accounts with Gmail post on Zo’C has been featured on lifechacker.com, which is a huge step for a still young blog.

I actually wrote that post thinking on some friends of mine that needed to do just that, but published it as a post because I thought many people would be interested, so I sent an email to the nice people at Etc blog, and they were kind enough to feature it.

Magnolia featuring Zo’C

What I couldn’t figure out is the huge amount of interest it would provoke, tens of thousands of people entered that post alone in just the few last days. The post have been featured in more sites that I can acknowledge, has been top ranked on some news agregators and has even been translated to Japanse.

Has anybody translated it to some other language? I will gladly link to it.

Also, I added trackback link on the blog, that was missing and I found out was really a grave fault. You can find the trackback link for all posts on top of the comments area.

    Ryan Imel says:

    Hey Guilherme,

Just wanted to say thanks for commenting on my post over at Daily Blog Tips the other day, on widening blogs. I usually write over at ThemePlayground.com and only recently started at DBT, so I’m excited to see feedback on my writing!

Wow, big news getting featured by LH. Good job! Seems like this blog is really picking up for you then…I’m going to subscribe, keep an eye on your writing. Sounds like good stuff.

Anyway, thanks for the comment again. I look forward to continuing to hear your thoughts at DBT!

    Hi Ryan,

You are very welcome, the discussion you rose on your post is an interesting one and there are very different points of view.

There is still a long path to find the ultimmate solution for that, I’m glad to give my two cents :-)
