Tony, thanks :-) i'm very proud of the visual myself.

Actually, the site does work in Internet Explorer. A good part of my public still uses IE 6, and the site works perfectly on it.

However Perfectly is different from fully. Internet explorer does not support an awful lot of features it should, then you are faced with the folowing options:

Not to implement anything that doesn't work in all famous browsers and limit your work

Use dirty hacks to find specific workarounds and perpetuate the missing things

Gracefully degrade your layout for poorer browsers

My option is often the last one.

But actually, this site works almost fully on IE7 and there are workarounds for critical issues in IE6.

The paragraph size is limited because of typographic conventions. In order to preserve text flow, lines must not be too long.

The extra space in the right, becames a sidebar for floating objects like pullouts and images. Making a better use of a widescreen monitor that to let the text extend for arbitraty lenght and destroying text flow.

I wasn't aware of any learning disability like this. I'd love to be take this kind of concern on my work. I'd very much appreciate if you can share some more info :-)

Very good looking site, although I think not supporting IE is a particularly dumb decision seeing as how you mention accessibility. (I am not saying MS are correct for ignoring max-width etc!!!)

Why is limiting your paragraph size (elastic) considered accessible when there are people with cognative/learning disabilities that prefer to read text over very long lines?
